‘Suits‘ burst onto the USA Network In 2011, spinning the zany tale of a college dropout, Mike, and his accomplice, as they navigated through some outrageously wild court cases, turning legal drama into an art form.
Of course, the show wasn’t just about this dynamic pair; it featured a whole cast of legal eagles, from savvy lawyers to sharp paralegals, and judicious judges, all brought to life by a stellar lineup of actors including Dulé Hill, Rachael Harris, Gina Torres, among others.
The nine-season wonder that graced our screens bid adieu in 2019, and let’s just pretend the spinoff is like that one relative we don’t invite to family dinners.
With Suits now strutting its stuff on Netflix and stealing the spotlight, it’s high time we checked in on the cast to see who’s still suiting up and who’s lounging in sweatpants.
1. Neal McDonough
Neal McDonough‘s recurring role as Sean Cahill on Suits is just the tip of the iceberg. His extensive resume boasts a variety of roles, from Desperate Housewives to the character of Damien Darhk in The CW’s Arrowverse. Since the conclusion of Suits, he has appeared in an array of productions including Yellowstone, Project Blue Book, and American Horror Story, among others.

2. Gabriel Macht
Gabriel Macht struck gold with his portrayal of Harvey Specter in “Suits.” However, he’s now prioritizing family life with his wife, Jacinda Barrett, and their two children.
In September 2023, he supported the SAG-AFTRA strike, recognizing “Suits'” unexpected success on streaming services and advocating for improved residuals for actors, considering the show’s substantial earnings on Netflix and Hulu.
It was during the final season of “Suits” that Macht truly understood the show’s popularity, as he began to be recognized by people on the street.

3. Gina Torres
Gina Torres rocked the role of law firm partner Jessica Pearson for a solid seven seasons before she went solo in that not-so-great spinoff, “Pearson.” But hey, she’s been keeping herself busy since that show’s demise.
You can catch her in stuff like Westworld and 9-1-1 and as a voice in animated series like The Legend of Vox Machina and Elena of Avalor. Now, Jessica Pearson? That’s a highlight in her career. She even spilled the beans to Entertainment Weekly that the role was originally written for a dude but got a total makeover just for her. Pretty cool, right?

4. Dulé Hill
Dulé Hill, known for The West Wing and Psych, joined the Suits cast in its seventh season. In one of the interviews, he admitted he was already a big fan of the show, so getting on board was a dream come true. After Suits, he jumped right into more Psych shenanigans. In 2021, he got a role on the reboot of The Wonder Years, but it’s now going to be a Black family in the 1960s.

5. Meghan Markle
Meghan Markle’s journey post-‘Suits’ has been eventful. Indeed, she married Prince Harry and became a Duchess in 2018. Prior to her royal engagement, her relationship with Harry influenced ‘Suits’ production, with Buckingham Palace reviewing her scripts. Since her nuptials, Meghan’s global recognition has soared.
She’s been in the spotlight for stepping down from royal duties, moving to California, parenting two children, candidly speaking with Oprah, and securing deals with Netflix and Spotify. There’s speculation about her return to acting, but that remains to be seen.

6. Rachael Harris
Rachael Harris has been a big name in the industry way before her role in Suits. And guess what? While she was at it, she was pulling double duty on CW’s Lucifer. Post-Suits, she appeared in guest roles on shows like Ghosts and Fantasy Island, to name a couple. Oh, and there was this one project that almost got greenlit – an ABC pilot she did with her bestie Cheryl Hines called Barracudas. It was supposed to be a show about two lawyer sisters who help their clients escape bad marriages but can’t seem to fix their own drama. Sadly, it never got to see the light of day.

7. Patrick J. Adams
Patrick had been on the Suits roster since day for nine long seasons, which was a big commitment for him at the time. But unlike Macht, Adams didn’t waste a minute once the show wrapped up. Almost immediately, he signed up for playing the legendary astronaut John Glenn in The Right Stuff. After that, there were some other projects, but they were not as memorable or impactful. And on the personal front, Adams became a married man in 2016 after tying the knot with Troian Bellisario, who you may remember from Pretty Little Liars.
